Experience, scholarship and responsible practice
We are an international learning community dedicated to Transpersonal Psychology, Grof® Breathwork and the responsible exploration of expanded states of consciousness.
A bridge between Grof's legacy and contemporary professional practice
The Grofian Institute brings together rigorous study, direct experience and careful integration. Our purpose is to make the field of Transpersonal Psychology accessible without losing the depth, context or ethical responsibility that this work requires.
We organize professional training, residential experiential modules, educational programs and international collaborations. Our work serves psychologists, psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, educators and other professionals, as well as people pursuing serious personal development.
We are the authorized representatives of Grof® Legacy Training for Ibero-America, working in relationship with the international training network established by Stanislav and Brigitte Grof.

Depth requires responsibility
Professionals considering this field need more than inspiring language. They need clarity about standards, boundaries and what the training actually involves.
Preparation & screening
Participation begins with informed assessment of physical and psychological considerations.
Experiential learning
Conceptual study is complemented by direct, carefully supported experience.
Consent & non-imposition
Facilitation respects autonomy and does not impose interpretations on a participant's process.
Integration
Time and structure are dedicated to making meaning of experience and supporting its responsible application.
Professional scope
Certification does not replace local clinical licensure or authorize practice beyond applicable law.
Continuing community
Learning is supported through faculty contact, peer relationships and ongoing professional development.
